Dr. Campbell completed his undergraduate (B.S. in Physics) at Davidson College. He went on to obtain an MD and MPH degree from Johns Hopkins followed by residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute. He completed his training with a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Casey Eye Institute, where he remains on faculty as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Campbell's research focuses on the utilization of imaging technology to improve care for patients with retinal disease, in particular retinopathy of prematurity.
